ASIL Guide to Electronic Resources for International Law; International Criminal Law
"When The American Society of International Law was founded in 1906 by U.S. Secretary of State Elihu Root, its purpose was to educate and engage the public in international law, and to expand its frontiers as a vehicle for resolving disputes and international conflict. Since then, the ASIL's mission has remained the same, while the world has changed dramatically. International law is now not only for government. International law is a factor in economics, trade, the environment, communications, transportation, health and human rights."

The Avalon Project : Laws of War
"The Avalon Project will mount digital documents relevant to the fields of Law, History, Economics, Politics, Diplomacy and Government. We do not intend to mount only static text but rather to add value to the text by linking to supporting documents expressly referred to in the body of the text.
The Avalon Project will no doubt contain controversial documents. Their inclusion does not indicate endorsement of their contents nor sympathy with the ideology, doctrines, or means employed by their authors. They are included for balance and because in some cases they are by our definition a supporting document."

Human Rights Internet - A Human Rights Gateway
"HRI is dedicated to the empowerment of human rights activists and organizations, and to the education of governmental and intergovernmental agencies and officials and other actors in the public and private sphere, on human rights issues and the role of civil society."
