Part of the transcript of an interview with Naseer Ahmad (Pare) by military prosecutors.

Partial translation:

"For about 5 months I have worked at the Sato Kandaw post...

On March 1, 2003, I was arrested along with 9 other soldiers by the American Forces and taken to their camp along with our weapons and vehicles. In detention, the Americans beat us up with karate, cables, wooden bats and electrical shocks. Because of the beatings by the Americans forces Jamal was martyred, and I was and I was almost beaten to death myself. But in the end they weren't able to show that we had any kind of ties or relationship with al-Qaeda."
