Response to On the News Item:

Security Council Grants US 12-month Immunity From International Court

October 13, 2002

The USA realise that the growth in International Courts is more of a threat to its sovereignty and will be a limitation on its use of excessive dominance in the world where it always gets what it wants. The world is ready to move on without the US. The international courts are a serious threat to the US because, notably, US troops are alleged to be committing war crimes and fears its citizens may be tried by these courts. The ICC is the greatest challenge to the US and the US is so scared. The US wants to put a stop to International Courts and that is the only reason for Prospers statement. That won't work because, the world has a focus of a more intertwined and deeper international fraternity than the fragmented system the US wants. International responsibility is now the focus for the world, both developed and developing, and the US cannot stop that.
